Keep Calm and Craft On 🙂
When experiencing a little hiccup in your crafting project, this is a good quote to remember.
Recently I attempted a knitting hat where I made a rather large mistake where I decreased too many stitches in one row and I couldn’t go back and fix it.
I needed to pull out all the rows and start again, what’s affectionately known as ‘frogging’ in the knitting world. It was a very frustrating experience.
This quote came to my mind and I realized, mistakes are part of a crafter’s journey and not getting too upset is the key 🙂
I tried to remain calm and got stuck back into beginning the hat again 🙂 This time not making any mistakes, (that I couldn’t fix) and the final hat was lovely.
The craft inspiration this week has some wonderful projects and stories.
