On My Needles
Yippee!! I finally found some yarn to knit with!
I bought the 100% cotton 50g ball of Hilaza Fantasia by Omega 8 at a haberdashery store.
I happened upon it on a recent walk. Such a serendipitous encounter!
The color is turquoise (turquesa in Spanish) and reminds me of the Caribbean Sea.
I am knitting my own very simple dish cloth design.
There is a garter stitch border and seed stitch in the center.
It is a gift for a friend here in Mexico, who is an artist that works with incredible stones.
He showed me his collection of Turquoise stones, and hence this was the inspiration for my choice of color.
I am delighted to be knitting again 🙂

I have had my eye on Vogue Knitting: The Ultimate Knitting Book, Completely Revised & Updated 2018 and it is currently 40% off at Knitpicks!!
