Ahh the day of love, really everyday there should be some love don’t you think?
Valentine Crafts for Adults are the craft projects being featured in this week’s Top 10 in Craft.
The 3D paper hearts on branches look superb.
First off though is some exciting news on my knitting adventure …
On My Needles
Yippee!! I finally found some yarn to knit with!
I bought the 100% cotton 50g ball of Hilaza Fantasia by Omega 8 at a haberdashery store.
I happened upon it on a recent walk. Such a serendipitous encounter!
The color is turquoise (turquesa in Spanish) and reminds me of the Caribbean Sea.
I am knitting my own very simple dish cloth design.
There is a garter stitch border and seed stitch in the center.
It is a gift for a friend here in Mexico, who is an artist that works with incredible stones.
He showed me his collection of Turquoise stones, and hence this was the inspiration for my choice of color.
I am delighted to be knitting again 🙂
