On My Needles
I stayed up late one night this week and finished knitting the Ridged Shawl by Vanessa Ewing (Plymouth Yarns)
After blocking, I realized that the edges were not as straight as I thought they would be.
I have learned from other lovely knitters that I didn’t pick up enough stitches on one edge, and my bind off was a bit tight.
There were suggestions that I rip back those rows of garter stitch on each edge and redo.
I am reluctant to do this; I am too keen to work on something new!
I secretly made it for my daughter for her birthday.
She has already been wearing it, enjoying its warmth and softness:)
