For this weeks Top 10 In Craft, It’s all about the beautiful fall crafts in honor of the season that brings great change. This has most likely been said a million times, but there is something magical about seeing the greenery erupt into a beautiful sea of warm colors.
From crafts inspired by the beautiful changes nature undergoes, to garments for the cooler weather, there is something to craft for everyone. A perfect way to spend your spare time in the cooler days.
Before we get into that, a piece of my current crafting journey.
On My Needles
Rows of Stockinette stitch are the easy part of my first attempt at knitting 2 socks at a time using the magic loop method.
The next part is the heel flap.
Although it looks easy when I watch designer Kate Atherley do it in the video course, I’m a doubtful I’ll get it the first time 🙂
It took me 3 attempts to get the cast on and one by one rib right!!
I am excited to progress to knitting the heel flaps, I am ready for the challenge 🙂
My Next Sock Yarn?
These yarns speak to me of the Fall season. Merino and Cashmere is such a gorgeous blend.
Capra is DK weight and Capretta is Fingering weight. There are also bare yarns available. Take a look here.
