This week as you might have guessed from the title, features fabulous Space Crafts.
My kids and I were recently discussing the planets and I am sure they would love to tackle some of these crafts.
I love the adorable arigurumi Aliens and the Moon cross stitch pattern.
Something for everyone in the crafty goodness below…
First up, a quick update from me.
On My Needles
Have you ever done a Picot Edge cast on?
I am knitting the Cable Sunburst Washcloth by Kendra Nitta for Knitpicks.
I realized that a neat looking cast on is all about your tension.
I have not quite mastered the Picot Cast On but it was good to learn a new technique.
The pattern is knitted in the round, which I haven’t done for a while.
Although I have watched tutorials on joining the round, I still have room for improvement for that technique.
I haven’t got gorgeous stitch markers, so instead, I’m using scrap yarn. I love the quote “I see you don’t use stitch markers. I too like to live dangerously.”
I find when doing some patterns I can get away without using stitch markers.
But for this pattern, I find them very helpful.
I look forward to showing you the finished product, it might be a while 🙂
