For this weeks Top 10 In Craft, It’s all about ROARtastic Dinosaur Crafts that you and the little crafters in your life are sure to love.
Dinosaurs, although we know so little about them, are fascinating creatures. It’s such a fantastic thing that that kind of animals walked this earth a million years ago.
That said, I’m relieved they aren’t alive today! Imagine a 90 ft long Diplodocus plodding by the house!
No thank you! I prefer my dinosaurs as a beautiful handmade plushy, or a cute cross stitch wall hanging.
But before that, a little chapter from my current crafting journey.
On My Needles
The times I have been knitting lately made me think of the quote –
“Within you, there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself.” – Hermann Hesse
I’ve shared articles on the health benefits of knitting and how some people find knitting is their meditation.
I can get to a place of stillness and sanctuary in my mind when I knit.
It’s a beautiful space.
