Nature is so incredible! Snowflakes are just one part of its amazing creations.
No wonder so many crafters are inspired by the beauty of these winter wonders.
I experienced my first falling snow in Japan a few years ago. I held snowflakes and was captured by their intricate beauty.
So you guessed it, this week’s Top 10 feature Snowflake Crafts.
All ready for when Winter comes!
On My Needles
The Toe Up Sock With A Difference has progressed this week, with a fair share of mistakes and total dah! moments.
When trying the repeats for the heel turn I seemed to run out of stitches after having completed the first 3 rows.
The wonderful knitters of Ravelry said to take a pic of where I was up to and they could help me further.
I became quite frustrated! I left it for a while and had another go.
It dawned on me where I had gone wrong!
I’d read this [sl 1, k1] 16 times as sl, knit 16 times.
Of course I didn’t have enough stitches!
This way of creating the heel is so fascinating, the wrong side has all the slipped stitches but the right side has a lovely ribbed look. Designers are so clever.
